Preseason Fall 2025

Our preseason consisted of rigorous conditioning, intensive skills training, and a comprehensive focus on systems through on-field sessions, recovery work, classroom instruction, film study, and multiple scrimmages.

We were fortunate to travel to Brown University, where we scrimmaged last year’s Division 1 National Collegiate Rugby Champions. It was a valuable opportunity to test ourselves against their standard and learn from both their players and their experienced coaching staff. We then hosted the University of Vermont for a competitive scrimmage and post-match cookout, which provided a great day of rugby and camaraderie. Finally, we closed our preseason with a strong performance against UMass Lowell on the road.

We are extremely grateful to Brown, UVM, and UMass Lowell for taking the time to compete with us and help prepare all of our programs for the upcoming season. We wish each of them a successful fall season.

This preseason has been instrumental in building our team culture—welcoming an impressive rookie class, working tirelessly alongside one another, and spending countless hours together both on and off the pitch. From training and scrimmages to media day, the bonds within this group have only grown stronger.

Now, the focus elevates once again as we begin our 2025 fall season. We open on the road with a business trip to Niagara University on Friday, September 13th, followed by our home opener against UConn on Saturday, September 20th. We look forward to seeing all of our supporters as we begin our season.
